Harriet Swatman is a well-rounded communications professional with fifteen years’ experience growing the brands of small companies, opening up markets for middle sized professional firms and running national profile-building campaigns.
Harriet worked in London for eight years, specializing in the built environment and issues management. She was employed by lead PR firm, Tamesis PR, boutique marketing communications agency, Stratton & Reekie, and global management consultancy, Financial Dynamics (now FTI Consulting).
Moving to Australia in 2010 she continued to work with architects and creative professionals, providing them with effective strategies on which to build their reputation. Harriet joined Horizon Communication Group in 2012 and ran their Brisbane office for three years, developing Government public awareness campaigns, helping Australian franchises to grow and augmenting the industry profile of specialist professional services firms. Recently she went in-house at prestigious publishing company- the University of Queensland Press- in a marketing role that focused on improving consumer reach and sales.
Harriet loves working with media and developing messages that have a direct impact on reputation and growth. She enjoys creating effective content and is very glad to be part of an agency involved in thought leadership PR.
She is a member of the PRIA.
